Walking isn't just good for the body, it's good for the soul. That's one of the reasons we set aside over 340 acres of permanently protected, hardwood forest as a peaceful habitat for wildlife. Plus nine miles of greenway trails that meander through the forest. Whether you walk, jog or ramble the tranquil trails and boardwalks, you'll find them an endless source of calm and a deep connection with nature.

The lush, green preserve, framing the blue waters of Hampton Lake, showcases the Lowcountry's wildlife and wildflowers. White-tailed deer, wood ducks, raccoon, white ibis, barred owls, and green tree frogs call these woods home.
