Though justifiably celebrated for its charming historic district, Bluffton enjoys all the modern amenities to make living here both convenient and easy. Major hospitals are as close as Hilton Head, Savannah, Beaufort and Charleston. Most of these hospitals offer significant urgent and primary care facilities right here in town. Many private practices have opened in Bluffton in recent years, giving you a wide choice of physicians, dentists and specialists from which to choose. As for food shopping, there are five major grocery stores in town, including two Publix stores, Food Lion, Kroger and Piggly Wiggly, and lots of smaller convenience marts. With a Super Wal-Mart just down Highway 278, two outlet malls, a movie theatre, a number of shopping centers, and all the major car dealerships, there is very little that can't be found here. There are also over 50 restaurants in Bluffton, ranging from traditional Southern cuisine to fine dining and all the popular chains your kids and grandkids love. When you need to fly, two airports are within a 30-minute drive: Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and Hilton Head Regional Airport.
