Water Aerobics Is Back!

 Now that Winter is out and Spring is in we are bringing back Water Aerobics!  Starting Saturday April 10th at 9:30am come enjoy the comfortable pool waters for a fun Water Aerobics class. This class will replace our Yogalates for the Spring and Summer. In the event of a rainy Saturday the class will be held inside Fitness Central as Yogalates. We look forward to seeing you at Adventure Lagoon!

Walk & Sculpt

 Starting Tuesday March 9th at 5:30pm Fitness Central will offer a Walk & Sculpt class! Perfect for the Spring weather, the class will take you outdoors for a 3 mile walk while using resistance bands to sculpt and tone the whole body.  This 6 week class will give you a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and have fun with your fellow neighbors.

Cardio and Toning Class

 We had a great turn out last night for our Cardio and Toning Class! We burned some calories, toned some muscles and most of all we had a great time. Our next class will be held tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 28th at 5:30pm at Fitness Central.

Be Fit In 2010

It’s a New Year and it is time to get in shape! Spring and Summer are only a few months away, are you ready for shorts and tanks?

Beginning Tues Jan 19th at 5:30pm we will hold a Cardio & Toning class every Tues and Thurs evening until Feb. 25th. This class is sure to get rid of those unwanted holiday pounds. Call Fitness Central for more details.

Got Friends?? Well now you and two or more of your friends can get together for Personal Training Sessions! What a fun way to workout!! One of our skilled Personal Trainers will work with you and your friends to create a fun and effective program to get everyone in shape and you get to split the cost!

Trainilates! It is a combination of personal training and Pilates… So you get the best of both worlds! You will spend a 30 minutes with a personal trainer performing body sculpting and calorie burning moves then you will head straight to our Stotts Pilates studio for 30 minutes of core and toning exercises. This super fun workout incorporates two very effective weight loss and muscle toning methods!

Fun Turkey Day Facts

Here are a few things to keep in mind this year when you sit down
with your family and friends to enjoy your Thanksgiving feast
~ About 45 million turkey will be eaten this Thanksgiving
~ The average Thanksgiving meal (not including pre-snacks, second helpings, or dessert) will total 3,000 calories!
~ When you include all the snacking and desserts for that day the average person will have consumed 4,500 calories! (3,500 calories = 1 pound)
~ A 160lb person would have to jog for 4 hours, swim for 5 hours, or walk 30 miles to burn off 3,000 calories
~The average person will gain roughly 5 pounds this holiday season (this number could be higher if the person is already overweight)

Holiday Bootcamp

Turkey, stuffing, and pie oh my! The temptation is at its highest this time of year to indulge but Fitness Central is offering a Holiday Bootcamp to help burn some of those extra holiday calories. Starting Dec 1st every Tuesday and Thursay at 5:30pm through Dec. 17th you can join in on our Holiday Bootcamp class. We will ensure that you burn some calories so you can enjoy your holiday season and not stress about gaining weight. The class will be taught by two of Hampton Lake’s personal trainers so you can rest assure you will get the attention you need.

$10 per session or $42 for all 6 sessions!

2nd Annual Tiger Bass 5k

Wow!! We had an amazing turn out Saturday October 31st for our 2nd Annual Tiger Bass 5k and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run. Over 100 particiapnts came out to be apart of this chrarity event. We had fun costumes, great music, and yummy post race snacks! Congrats to out first second and third place winners for all of your hard work and dedication. Final results are soon to come!
