2nd Annual Tiger Bass Open Results:
It was a great day of fishing out on the Lake during the Tiger Bass Open, Saturday April 21st! After 12 hours of fishing everyone worked up quite an appetite and enjoyed a relaxing Awards Ceremony and dinner to celebrate. 16 two-person teams competed for the top weigh-in of 5 Tiger Bass. This surpassed the number of teams last year by 6 and the fish were more plentiful and larger overall. The biggest fish was caught by team Horowitz (5lbs. 5oz.), but since they won 1st place, the prize went to the team with the next biggest fish. There was a 3-way tie for the next biggest fish (4lbs. 6oz.) among teams Fix, Guidobono and Perkowski. The teams drew for a win and team Perkowski won for biggest fish.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon and evening at the Lakehouse to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby. We will have Harry Santana playing live music on the lawn from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Bring blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the music. At 6:00pm we will check-in on the Kentucky Derby with prizes to be awarded. Sombreros and bonnets are encouraged. Join us for a fun night of Live Music with the Great Pretenders in the Lakeview room this Friday, 3/23/12 from 8:00pm-10:00pm. This two man band is a Member and local favorite! They play fun danceable music including 50’s, 60’s, Bobby Darin, Neil Diamond and Doo-wop tunes. Backwater Bill’s will have the bar open and offer some great drink specials.
