“We have two sons, one in Nashville and another that lives with his wife and daughter in Atlanta, Georgia. We lived in Tennessee for twenty years and enjoyed many family visits to Hilton Head. However, our news of making a permanent move to the Lowcountry, and specifically to Hampton Lake in Bluffton, SC was not well received. Both sons expressed their dismay about selling the house they grew up in and why they didn’t like the idea of us moving out of the area. We explained why we wanted to move to this new community and how it was perfect for us, as a family. We insured them they would enjoy visiting us in a place with amenities that usually are only found at the best resorts.

Needless to say – it only took them a couple of visits to realize how special Hampton Lake really is and now they can’t wait to come back and see us. Our granddaughter absolutely loves the pool area and my son and daughter-in-law enjoy the Tower Bar, restaurant and pool area. My younger son is an avid golfer and exercise enthusiast. We joined Hampton Hall’s golf course and now he splits his time between the gym, the pool, kayaking and playing golf. Now they both tell me what a good idea it was for us to move into Hampton Lake. I have no doubt that we made the best choice and look forward to seeing them again really soon. In fact my younger son is coming for a visit next week!
